Frequently asked questions

Everything hosts ask before their first event.

If your question is not here, write to Stephanie — she answers these herself.

Getting started

Do my guests need to download an app?

Never. Guests scan the QR code or tap your link and it opens straight in their browser — no install, no account, no signup. That is the whole point.

How long does it take to set up?

Under two minutes. Name the event, pick the date, and choose a cover photo. You get a QR code and a guest link immediately, and print-ready table cards and posters to put on the tables.

What can guests share?

Photos, short videos, and voice messages — recorded right there, in the moment. The voice notes are the ones hosts tell us they did not know they wanted until they heard them.

How many guests can join?

Unlimited, on every plan including the free one. You are never charged per guest.

Plans and pricing

Is there really a free plan?

Yes. A free event with 20 photo, video, and voice uploads, unlimited guests, and a 30-day private album. No card required. You only pay when you want unlimited uploads, a longer album, or the live photo wall.

Is it a subscription?

No — you pay once per event. Choose the plan that fits the day, keep the album for its window, and there is nothing recurring to cancel.

Can I upgrade after the event has started?

Yes. Start free, and if the uploads are coming in faster than you expected, move up a plan and everything already collected stays exactly where it is.

After the event

Can I keep the photos after the event?

Yes. On every paid plan you download the originals in full quality, and those files are yours to keep for good. The online album stays up for three months on Keepsake, six on Celebrate, and a year on Forever — you can re-download as often as you like in that window.

What happens when the album window ends?

The hosted album comes down, so download the originals before it does. Anything you have already downloaded is unaffected — it lives on your own drive, not ours.

Control and privacy

What if a guest uploads something I don't want?

You stay in control. With moderation switched on, nothing appears in the album until you approve it — and you can remove anything, at any time, whether moderation is on or off.

Who can see the album?

Only the people you give the link or QR code to. Albums are private by default and are never listed publicly or indexed by search engines.

Where is my data stored?

In Frankfurt, Germany — never transferred to the US. Consent, export, and erasure are built in, so you are GDPR-compliant by default.

Still deciding?

The free plan costs nothing and needs no card — the fastest way to see what your guests send.
